Here at our office, we are dedicated to keeping you informed and want you to know what you can expect during your first visit with us.

Your first appointment is designed to evaluate your complete oral health. We reserve about an hour for this visit which allows us to get to know you, update any necessary x-rays, take any necessary photographs of your teeth, and have Dr. LeBrecht perform a comprehensive exam. We will examine your bite, perform an oral cancer screening, and listen to any concerns you have about your teeth whether cosmetic or functional. We will also ask questions about your medical health, as many patients do not realize the ways that dental health is related to overall health. This visit is fundamental in caring for you to the best of our ability.

You will want to bring the following information with you to this initial visit:

  • Your referral slip and X-rays if applicable
  • A list of any medications you are taking
  • Any known allergies or medical conditions
  • Medical or Dental insurance to be filed

Please let the office know if you have a medical condition that may be a concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever, or blood disorders).

If you’ve had X-rays taken in the last six months, please have your dentist forward them to us. If there is not enough time to get them to us prior to your appointment, please make arrangements to pick them up and bring them with you to the appointment.

A parent or guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18.

If you have any questions about what to expect on your first visit, don’t hesitate to contact us today at (321) 267-2934.
